The ISF has also boosted its presence and now has 2 platoons in the district. In Baucau, there are 45 UNPol officers and 40 FPU officers, and a further platoon of FPU has been deployed to the district on Tuesday. One ISF section is also present.

Today in Dili, the security situation was calm and there were no reports of serious security incidents. Yesterday, there were several reports of rock throwing and fighting, most of which occurred at night. Police arrested 17 people over the course of the day.
