Regarding the Liquica incident where three women were killed
in a arson, Police has arrested three suspects. The Forensics Team from National Investigations Department attended the scene and
the victims bodies were removed to Dili Hospital Mortuary for autopsy. Investigations still continues.
In spite of the resume of Lobato trial, the situation in
Dili remains calm. During yesterdays afternoon UNPol escorted 24 trucks
carrying Lobato supporters out of Dili.
Yesterday, there were reports of rock throwing between
martial art groups in Ailok Laran and in Vila Verde. Late night, a group of
people were damaging property in Fatuhada area. They ran away at police
attendance. One local male was arrested for theft in Kuluhum. The suspect was
surprised by a police unit stealing 40m of power line.
Today, UNPol provided security and escorted 48 families
moving from IDP camps to outside districts.
UNPol makes a special request to the public regarding a 7
year old girl who disappeared yesterday from the Dili National Hospital at
1130am. The family is from Dom Bosco area and it is possible the young girl
tries to return home. The missing girls name is Milenia Gomes, she is 7 years
old, approximately 3 feet tall, thin structure, long black hair with red
painted highlights, black eyes, dark skin. She has a mole on her forehead and
she was wearing a yellow shirt and skirt with white stripes. In case you have
any information that might help to locate this child please contact the police.
